Okera provides access data to underlying data sources. It provides functionality for end-user query access to data using various applications (BI tools) or programmatically (Apache Spark or Python).
Typically the provisioning of data to the underlying data stores (ex: S3 or HDFS) is done by common ingest pipelines, which have full and direct access to the data.
